Reporting directly into the Group Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be a key part of the digital product portfolio team, helping to define overall strategy for driving usage for current customers and generating new business opportunities.

The role requires excellent data analysis skills in order to be able to identify new business and upsell opportunities for publisher's journals and other digital products. A successful candidate will be results driven, who blends deep knowledge of the academic publishing industry with creative energy that inspires action.

Your role:

  • Overall responsibility for marketing & sales driving initiatives for journals in EMEA and Latin America (including academic and non-academic markets)
  • Working closely with sales team to leverage opportunities in Open Access
  • Serve as a local lead for EMEA sales team in pricing & journal-specific questions
  • Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of all consortia deals relevant to the publisher in EMEA and Latin America

Your profile:

  • Proven marketing experience in academic publishing industry
  • Proven track records of implementing sales driving campaigns in order to generate leads
  • With a strongly data-driven approach, you'll be comfortable tracking and reporting on KIP results and lead conversion rates
