Responsibilities

Conduct a full mix classic marketing role (in relation to price, place, product and promotion)

  • Conduct customer/market research
  • Study data to recognise patterns and trends to identify opportunities to support business growth
  • Manage product portfolio - range evolution - phase in/phase out
  • Manage new product launches and roll them out
  • Closely follow and try to anticipate developments in the market (e.g. regulation/incentives in "green" issues, with competitors and routes to market etc
  • Participate to the annual and 5 year rolling marketing plan (agreeing, proposing and presenting), as part of budget and forecasting process
  • Contribute to pricing policy

Experience

  • Have/develop strong product knowledge
  • Support the sales office in technical product selections
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors and external sales team to answer questions on technical functionality
  • Interpret technical specifications and identify suitable products
  • Competitor price analysis (collating and maintaining up to date competitor price files)
  • Sales promotion campaigns: control, initiate and collaborate with sales manager at route to market and customer level
