The Media Account Director will devise and deliver media proposals and activity delivering target KPI's for the agencies clients ensuring their requirements are met and exceeded. You will develop and implement innovative proposals utilising latest industry trends and capabilities and therefore proactively staying abreast with latest industry best practices, innovations and suppliers.

Key responsibilities:

You will support the Director of Media in formulating the strategy for the media department in line with the company strategy and objectives and in delivering annual sales and contribution targets.

Develop existing client capabilities while proactively providing new business proposals and recommendations

Responsible for devising and managing execution of media plans ensuring KPI's are set and achieved for both existing and potential clients

Develop positive and professional relations with clients, gaining respect and credibility acting as the primary day to day contact across media projects

Meet with media owners to discuss potential business plans and to learn about new opportunities

Attend industry events for networking purposes

Person specification:

The successful candidates will have competent knowledge of all media channels

Experience managing media accounts of various sizes

Ability to build and maintain relationships (both commercial and personal) with clients, suppliers, partners and colleagues

Analytical and results focused

Based in Leeds

The right candidate will have a strong London Network which is a must for this role
