Marketing Operations Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly driven Marketing Operations Manager to join a reputable global financial services business based in London. You will be working alongside a talented team and responsible for strategic functions as well as providing marketing support for the business.

Your responsibilities are:

  • Effective delivery of budget management and data management
  • Support the Marketing team and wider business in the development of high quality, on-brand, proposition and sales support material, including: brochures, factsheets, client presentations and new products & services literature
  • Participate as Key Business Resource / Project co-ordinator on departmental and corporate change
  • Working with the Head of Marketing and channel managers, maintain a function-wide budget that supports ROI and forward planning
  • Work with other departments, such as Compliance and Risk, to ensure Marketing best practice and adherence to regulatory standards
  • Build an understanding of current Marketing team systems and processes to and lead a programme of development to deliver greater efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide input into the evolution of new products and services as required in areas of product development, competitor research, feasibility assessments and other areas as they arise

Role requirements:

  • Minimum four years' experience in an operations focussed marketing role, ideally within financial services
  • Experience working with a wide range of stakeholders e.g. Compliance, Legal, Risk, Heads of Department to deliver change projects
  • Experience of working with a large number of external suppliers and evidence of optimising existing arrangements
  • Good communicator (both written and verbal) with the ability to work with senior stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
  • Experience of working with client data and a demonstrable understanding of GDPR
  • Educated to degree level
  • CIM or marketing equivalent qualification is desirable
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Enthusiastic with a positive, give-it-a-go attitude
  • Familiar with marketing processes including business approval and production e.g. web CMS (ideally Kentico), email (ideally Pure360), print, sign-offs
