Are you a digitally savvy marketing manager, interested in leading the Marketing strategy for one of the UK's most promising digital travel start-ups? The business is privately owned and self-funded by a well-known UK entrepreneur and after a year of preparation, the business is now seeking a Marketing Manager to develop and implement their go-to-market and multi-channel marketing strategy.

As the Marketing Manager, some of your accountabilities will be:

  • Creating seasonal and annual campaigns, ensuring key marketing messages are met (Brand Awareness, Product Awareness, Brand Positioning and Top of Mind).
  • Creating an enduring brand messages that results in increased sales, brand loyalty and improving market share while providing a clear creative/design direction to all creative teams, marketing teams and production vendors.
  • Takes full responsibility over all measurement & management of all Key Department Activities.
  • Using marketing calendars monthly/annually to ensure project are executed in a timely manner.
  • Maintains communications with appropriate agency, campaign personnel, media relations, and brand ambassadors to ensure positive workflow.
  • Producing smart, strategically sound, brand building, concept design for new products.
  • Train, motivate, performance appraisals, devising PDP, coaching and evaluate department personnel.
  • Leads and directs the design and production of visual and audio materials and media used for advertising, broadcast and web communications.

Skills required:

  • 5+ years in handling senior management roles in a consumer marketing background, ideally within an entrepreneurial/fast paced environment.
  • Knowledge of keyword analysis for SEO & Pay-Per-Click, Social Media Ad Campaigns, PPC, and Google AdWords.
  • Proven track record in marketing and experience of working to create and build a brand.
  • A strong understanding of Social Media marketing, across all platforms.
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills (English essential, Additional language is an added asset).

Skills that are advantageous, but not essential:

  • HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, knowledge of coding, with the ability to modify existing templates and code, knowledge of graphics design/video editing, knowledge of UX.
