A leading leisure and travel company is looking for a Marketing Manager to lead their marketing team, based in Folkestone, Kent. You will be responsible for defining and delivering the integrated marketing plans across all channels as well as coordinating all digital media, the online experience, content, PR and trade marketing.

Key responsibilities of the Marketing Manager:

  • Develop an integrated marketing strategy in collaboration with other teams such as digital. Creative services, publishing/ content and PR
  • Develop and implement a communications plan
  • Monitor customer retention performance
  • Improve marketing effectiveness and efficiency by monitoring the ROI across all marketing spend (online and offline) and adjusting investment accordingly
  • Manage email marketing activity
  • Working with the Head of Marketing and wider team to develop major multichannel campaigns for peak trading periods

Key Responsibilities of the Marketing Manager:

  • Proven marketing experience at management level, preferably in travel or leisure
  • Proven track record working on medium to large multi-channel campaigns and tracking their effectiveness
  • Direct marketing experience, particularly with experience delivering large scale direct mail activity
  • Experience of working with agencies / media partners
  • Experience of managing a team
  • Project management experience involving multiple stakeholder areas
  • Budget management experience
