An exciting opportunity for an aspiring marketing professional to join one of the UK's leading providers of card payment solutions. Based mainly in Central London (Whitechapel) with occasional travel to the Kent office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the marketing manager in the development and implementation of all marketing collateral across both online and offline spaces.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Work with the Marketing Manager to develop new marketing strategies and be responsible for communicating with all internal and external departments/agencies regarding these marketing plans.
  • Help to organise events and seminars and traditional or digital campaigns and, where necessary, attend them to facilitate their success.
  • Assist in setting up and monitoring tracking systems for marketing campaigns employing marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc).
  • Work with internal and external suppliers to develop relationships and assist with sales and operational support.
  • Help to manage the company's website and social media platforms.

Qualifications, experience and key skills:

  • Proven experience preparing collateral and content for use in both online and offline environments.
  • Excellent knowledge of and be proficient in MS Office packages and social media platforms, particularly Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • Strong organisation skills with good attention to detail as well as strong copywriting skills.
  • Experience in a payments and/or financial services environment is desirable but not essential.

The successful candidate could earn between £18,000 and £25,000 per annum dependant on experience.
