An exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join a rapidly growing Fintech organization on what will be an initial 5 month contract.

This Fintech organisation provides cloud-based data and intelligence solutions for the institutional investment market. As a high-growth, global organisation, they are looking for an associate within the Marketing Team who works well in a fast-paced team environment to help us take the EMEA business to the next level.

Working in a small London based team the Marketing Assistant will be focused on result driven campaigns, paying attention to tracking and measurement of all activities. This is a varied and busy role covering EMEA in which you will be responsible for assisting with the entire marketing suite of activities from event and conference logistics, assisting with email programs, building and managing the marketing database, using marketing and sales tools including Salesforce.com, Pardot and Google Analytics and other ad hoc marketing tasks.

This role will report to the EMEA Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the delivery of events and industry conferences/tradeshows, from pre-show communications, to on-the-day logistics, and events follow up.
  • Maintaining and build out the marketing database - this includes mining news and web sources for contacts.
  • Creating email campaigns using our email marketing tool - Pardot, to drive new revenue.
  • Contributing to the success of the marketing team with creative ideas, insight and team-building skills.
  • Working with the broader marketing team (based in the US and Kong Kong) on projects including; maintaining local language website with content, content creation and design.
  • Liaising with members from other teams - Sales, Client Success, Product - to help execute marketing programs and gather information and data.

Requirements:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - the ability to effectively communicate strategic programs to internal stakeholders including senior management.
    • Experience of B2B marketing - preferably with tech and/or financial markets experience..
    • Working knowledge of financial and investing concepts along with a willingness to devour information that would help you succeed.
    • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to multi-task and also possesses keen attention to detail.
    • Bachelor degree preferably in marketing, business or related subject.
