One of the largest producers of audiobooks in the world is seeking a fixed term/interim Merchandising Manager to join their London based, highly innovative and customer driven team.

Serving millions of customers, you'll be responsible for bringing innovative merchandising techniques that increase customer awareness and discovery of the spoken word category. You'll also be responsible for driving customer engagement and habituation by planning promotions, email communication and launching new features.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage, plan and execute product selection and merchandising with goals of driving adoption and habituation
  • Develop and implement bold, creative promotions and programs, and special projects
  • Build and send emails to engaged customers to drive habituation
  • Conceive new email programs to drive adoption and habituation
  • Build promotional landing pages to drive awareness of new listens
  • Test and iterate email campaigns, landing pages and messaging
  • Work with Email Marketing to understand email targeting for customers and implement
  • Liaise and partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Design, Customer Support, Product, and Content) to bring new experiences and functionalities to market

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in online merchandising/marketing
  • Strong organisational, and communication skills, with proven ability to handle multiple projects and deliver results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience with web/mobile analytics programs i.e., Site Catalyst, Google Analytics
  • Must be a self-starter, creative thinker, and quick learner
  • Basic HTML knowledge
  • SQL skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with Masters preferred or higher
  • Professional experience in an online, retail, e-commerce environment such as eBay/Amazon
  • Data driven and customer centric
  • Passion for books and audiobooks/books/digital content
  • An understanding of web development
  • Experience working with international teams
