Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Marketing Director to ensure consumer and advocacy marketing plans are agreed and in place
  • Work with multiple stakeholders across the programme and organisations to ensure each project's output is delivered within the agreed time, quality and budget parameters
  • Track, monitor and control deliverables, associated risks, issues, actions and dependencies to ensure the successful delivery of projects and outcomes and to minimise the impacts
  • Define, plan and develop a comprehensive project plan to track progress and completion.
  • Take responsibility for implementation of appropriate agile project methodologies
  • Lead the procurement and contracting process for all suppliers, liaising with internal legal and financial teams, to ensure compliance.
  • Responsible for managing and keeping track of the allocated budget
  • Produce regular internal and external reporting on projects progress.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with operator groups, partners and other stakeholder groups to establish necessary buy-ins and gain support
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Engage with mobile network operator stakeholders to ensure strong engagement, understanding and support for the project's activities

Person Specification

  • Agile project management expertise. The candidate will have experience of managing complex multinational, multifunctional projects and geographically dispersed teams in a matrix environment.
  • The candidate will be business minded, with good international relations understanding, technical literacy and policy and regulation knowledge.
  • Consultative and collaborative approach. The candidate will be a proactive facilitator for internal and external stakeholder's collaboration
  • Strong problem solving skill, and ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus around an approach
  • Presentation and communication. The candidate will be a clear, articulate and persuasive communicator, both in writing and in person
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines and evidence of focus on achieving goals and delivering to exacting deadlines
  • Experience of working with people from different cultures and countries in a matrix organisation
  • Ability to adapt and change approach in changing circumstances
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Project, Excel and Word.
