EMR are working with a leading built environment group to recruit a Head of Stakeholder Engagement and Communications to lead their engagement strategy and implementation for a major R&D programme in the construction industry.

Working with a group of partners and stakeholders, focusing on off site construction and digital technologies, the Head of Stakeholder Engagement and Communications will be tasked with engaging and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders to support their involvement in the programme.

As Head of Stakeholder Engagement and Communications, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop an engagement and communication strategy in collaboration with partners and stakeholders
  • Deliver a range of UK wide engagement events and workshops
  • Work with experts across the programme to identify and develop timely and impactful content (thought leadership, case studies, technical reports, etc)
  • Work closely with the communications and marketing departments of partners to deliver the strategy and to publish content through a range of channels, including participation at national industry conferences and other events
  • Perform stakeholder analysis and ensure strategy will meet defined programme KPIs and expected returns on investments

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Considerable experience of leading on external engagement and communication strategies, ideally in the construction sector
  • Excellent customer and communication skills
  • Excellent networking and influencing skills
  • Ability to build successful relationships at all levels
  • Ability to communicate complex information effectively to a wide range of audiences
  • Proven ability to work on complex programmes whilst maintaining focus on delivery
