Description

Responsibilities:

  • Help to define, agree and report performance against clear KPI's for the successful acquisition and retention of customers and growth of our remittance business based on commercial priorities
  • Marketing and positioning the money transfer services supported by robust evidence and analytics - at both product and country/corridor level
  • Together with the Remittance business team, work closely with external commercial partners globally to ensure aligned and effective joint activity to market money transfer services on both send and receive side
  • Contextualising marketing activity based on the nature of different send money propositions, the different markets and customer segments
  • Ensure all initiatives and campaigns are signed off as 'ready for market' by the Head of Remittance and align with other Group Marketing strategy and activity
  • Creation and ownership of an annual marketing plan and budget that directly supports the achievement of the Remittance business objectives
  • Acts as a trusted business partner to the Head of Remittance
  • Overseeing delivery by colleagues across Marketing business unit
  • Working closely with, and as part of, the entire Remittance team. Both in successfully driving live commercial operations as well helping to shape and inform the evolution of customer-centric money transfer propositions
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful go-to-market strategies and activities, including ensuring that any legal, compliance and regulatory requirements are met
  • Developing a solid understanding of the remittance business, supporting processes and systems for all aspects of the groups send money transaction flows

Requirements:

  • Degree or MBA, with specialisms in Marketing or similar
  • International multi brand/multi product marketing experience in the money transfer industry
  • Deep understanding of online remittance and related payment flows
  • A track record of successful marketing of money transfer services to different segments, communities and around various key seasonal dates across multiple channels
  • Experience in driving strong growth of new customer acquisition for a money transfer service across multiple markets
  • Experience of working effectively with internal and external marketing teams - from planning to execution. This should be across multiple marketing disciplines from offline marketing to digital including web, email and social media
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong team player and interpersonal skills
  • Highly collaborative with a positive approach to people and tasks
  • Hands on approach, ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Able to deconstruct and solve problems
  • Able to be adaptive and thrive in an environment of continuous change, complexity and ambiguity
