A fantastic grassroots Head of Marketing role with a specialist investor intermediary firm, and exclusive to EMR.
You will be leading marketing for a specialist private investment intermediary firm, connecting its private investor and family office clients with both private equity and commercial property opportunities and also alternative investment funds. The business has established a quarter-million AUM, diversified across many sectors, and currently manages a shade under 1000 HNW clients. The firm intermediates investors and investments providing a fully-manager service including due diligence and exit strategy.
Your Opportunity & Mandate
The business is looking to add to its investor base through generation of leads using a number of channels/sources and employing a variety of marketing techniques. The business only distributes directly to clients, so relies of marketing to attract interest and educate would-be investors about the brand. Working closely with a small, close knit team, the primary objective of the role is to grow, in both quality and quantity, the client prospect list by employing all aspects of the marketing mix.
Key aspects of the role include:
- researching and creatively identifying /evaluating new information sources in respect of potential new clients;
- developing and managing the subsequent campaigns to raise awareness of our services and brand among these prospects;
- enhancing and managing our digital profile in all respects.
The role will also involve planning and manage various aspects of our regular communications and interactions with existing clients, including events, seminars and client entertainment. The role involves developing close working relationships and lines of communication with several senior members of staff, including the partners. There will also be an opportunity to develop and expand on enhancements to the distribution process for each investment, working closely with the client management and distribution team in order to do so.

The role requires a natural curiosity and the ability to think laterally about how to reach and engage with the target audience. You will have strong attention to detail and good research skills, intertwined with the entrepreneurial flair required to work at an agile, growing company.
