A well-established British B2C company is looking for a Head of Digital Marketing who will be responsible for driving lead generation, brand awareness and growing the business' digital footprint across the full spectrum of digital channels.

You will take a data driven approach to managing the digital marketing budget, with the goal of growing the customer base and maximising ROI.


  • Manage the digital marketing strategy and the channel planning process to drive lead generation and maximise ROI
  • Full responsibility of the acquisition marketing budget, across a broad range of channels including Aggregators, PPC, Online Display, Paid Social, SEO and 3rd party partnerships
  • Actively investigate and identify high potential opportunities to test and incorporate into channel strategy
  • Management and optimization of CRM activities to deliver improved conversion rates across key transaction stages (in conjunction with Head of Brand and Content)
  • Oversee the implementation of the marketing technology stack, running RFPs for 3rd party vendor selection and employing best practice
  • Understand the business process to formulate a clear framework for operations and customer journey, identifying data collection points and ensuring correct tagging is in place
  • Collaborate with Senior Business Analyst to leverage marketing, transactional and website behaviour data to improve tracking, measurement and acquisition performance, ultimately striving for a single customer view
  • Manage CRO strategy in conjunction with Web team and CRO agency, identifying key customer journeys and areas of improvement
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement across customer journeys and channel performance
  • Liaise with aggregators, building relationships for new product testing, shared insight and digital acquisition programmes
  • Management of various external agency relationships and provide best practice consultation for other business units
  • Development of the brand and value proposition to encompass future ATL strategies which can amplify existing direct response channel performance
  • Assist Director in driving digital transformation strategy across all areas of the business


  • Extensive experience across digital media, within a direct response environment
  • A solid understanding of digital campaigns across PPC, Paid Social, Online Display, SEO and CRM
  • Experience using marketing data and tracking platforms such as web analytics
  • Experience managing and mentoring direct reports
  • Passionate and hungry to make an impact
  • A team player with a collaborative approach
