My client, a world renowned provider of international education is searching for a talented Communications Director or Senior Manager to head their Communications team, based in their centrally located London Head Office. This is a one of a kind opportunity, to take full ownership of the global communications strategy for this unique in character institution, priding itself in excellence of the student experience world-wide.

Main responsibilities:

  • Leading the development and implementation of the global communications strategy (PR, media management, content marketing) in line with brand vision to create exceptional experience for students and parents alike
  • Supporting the marketing team in developing marketing initiatives and global campaigns
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key media contacts
  • Developing and implementing internal communications strategy
  • Leading the crisis communications policy and reputation management
  • Managing external PR agencies- lead the selection and relationships with key agencies, strategy planning and business reviews to ensure quality of service
  • Managing global communications budget
  • Leading and developing Communications Team members against targets and development goals

Person requirements:

  • Minimum 10 ears of Communications experience with proven track of success in PR, media relations, corporate relations etc.
  • Previous experience in working in multi-national environment
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Outstanding influencing skills
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Experience in team management with strong leadership skills
  • Ability to work towards deadlines inn high paced environment
  • Independent, self- motivated and enthusiastic
  • Flexible with high levels of personal integrity
