A leading property company are recruiting for an Events Manager to join their Marketing Team in Central London. You will manage their Events Executive and lead on all events from conception through to delivery and evaluation.
You will report into their Head of Marketing and advise on their marketing strategy. This role is ideal for either a Senior Executive looking for their first Manager role or an established Manager looking to take on more responsibility.
The Events Manager will deliver a variety of events from conferences through to seasonal activations. You will be joining a close-knit and high performing marketing team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver all events - internal and external - logistics, budget management and on site delivery
- Advise on overall marketing strategy and develop new ideas for innovative events
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage budgets for all events and regularly report on progress
- Maintain the events calendar - work closely with marketing teams to ensure successful delivery
- Manage one direct report
- Work outside of office hours when necessary
Skills/Experience
- End to end events management experience
- Successful track record of delivering events of varying sizes
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Experience with budget management and spreadsheets
- Efficient negotiator and experienced with contracts
- Events experience in Professional Services or large B2B organisations is essential
- IOSH or health and safety experience is desirable
