Exciting chance for a digital marketing specialist looking to further their career in London.

This leading membership body are looking for a digital marketing specialist to join their team to plan, create and deliver innovative date-driven campaigns to reach core clients using email, paid advertising, SEO and other digital marketing applications.

This is a very broad role and will help to excel someone with a positive, can-do approach.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning, design and delivery of company knowledge web content across websites (including microsites and/or landing pages).
  • Research, plan create and deliver innovative, data-driven campaigns to reach core client audiences and target stakeholders.
  • Manage email campaigns in alignment with the digital marketing strategy - including audience segmentation, email design and delivery, creating of landing pages and reports.
  • Manage the paid advertising, SEO, email and other digital marketing applications and projects.
  • Manage digital marketing spending reports and invoice reconciliation.
  • Lead on regular analysis and reporting on digital marketing effectiveness, in conjunction with web and comms team
  • Use analytics and metrics to gain valuable internal/external clients/prospects insights and directly influence the programme reach and impact.
  • Coordinate promotional opportunities and production of knowledge learning materials both online and in print.
  • Manage a range of external service providers for design, print, advertising, analysis.
  • Analyse email response and web marketing leads to nurture prospects.

The Key accountabilities for customer and stakeholders will include;

  • Manage email campaigns in alignment with the digital marketing strategy - including audience segmentation, email design and delivery, creating of landing pages and reports.
  • To conduct e-communication campaigns to members to maximise engagement and consumption of learning programmes
  • Research, plan create and deliver innovative, data-driven campaigns to reach core client audiences and target stakeholders.
  • Analyse customer data to ensure a targeted approach and maximise return on investment
  • To manage any printed mail shots to potential audiences to meet deadlines, contain costs and reach the desired outcome.
  • To ensure that communications with customers are accurate and delivered with the correct Branding
  • Identify sponsorship/advertising opportunities for knowledge outputs
  • Market Research into knowledge learning programme theme and sector areas
  • Lead on regular analysis and reporting on digital marketing effectiveness, in conjunction with web and comms team
  • Manage a range of external service providers for design, print, advertising, analysis.
  • Support and provide relevant information to the Insights Manager and L&D Manager to assist decision-making

Operational accountabilities;

  • Manage the planning, design and delivery of knowledge web content across internal websites (including microsites and/or landing pages).
  • Manage the paid advertising, SEO, email and other digital marketing applications and projects.
  • Manage digital marketing spending reports and invoice reconciliation.
  • Use analytics and metrics to gain valuable internal/external clients/prospects insights and directly influence the programme reach and impact.
  • Co-ordinate promotional opportunities and production of knowledge learning materials both online and in print.
  • Analyse email response and web marketing leads to nurture prospects.
  • Determine and report on success of marketing activity against industry benchmarks to identify and implement areas for improvement
  • Review ROI of activities
  • Plan and deliver relevant content marketing strategy to target-customers to drive awareness and engagement
  • Support the budget management and plan spend

The ideal candidate will posses the following skills;

  • Adobe illustrator
  • Word press
  • Email marketing experience
  • CRM and CMS experience
  • Worked with Google analytics/Seo and adwords
  • Working knowledge of HTML. CSS and general email design principles
  • Computer literate in Windows packages (proficient in Word and Excel and familiar with Outlook).
  • Familiar with Photoshop or similar
  • Internet research skills.
  • High level of attention to detail is essential.
  • Deadline driven.
  • Problem solver.
  • Flexible approach.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Solid Background in delivering online marketing campaigns and programmes

Previous experience;

  • Previous experience of promoting learning Programmes is highly desirable.
  • Previous use of databases and web content management systems would be an advantage.
  • Experience of working across a number of projects simultaneously is essential.
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines would be advantageous
  • Experience of working within an education, membership or knowledge based organisation (e.g. publishing) would be an advantage
