We are looking for Digital Marketing Assistant to support the marketing and digital team in the delivery of digital and marketing communications, in order to recruit, retain and engage members and raise the brand's profile and influence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aid in the coordination, implementation and evaluation of the online and offline communications.
  • Maintain and keep the website's content up to date as well as using CMS systems to keep members details accurate and up to date.
  • Create original content to be used on the company's social media channels.
  • Be responsible for responding to user-contributed content, comments and queries on the companies various online platforms/social media to ensure our online community is supportive and welcoming to all participants.
  • Provide support with the use of their member relationship management system (CRM), including the input and analysis of data, in support of ATL's recruitment, retention and engagement objectives.
  • Create, organise and maintain a library of the company's visual assets for use across ATL's communications channels.
  • In conjunction with marketing and digital officers, generate reports from website, social media and marketing analytics to facilitate evaluation of activity and to inform the planning of their communications and the effective use of resource.

Key attributes

  • IT literacy and an ability to adopt new CMS, email and online survey systems in an IT enabled organisation, as well as knowledge of CMS software (e.g.Wordpress/Umbraco/Drupal) and basic HTML. (ATL uses the MS Office suite, has a customised online casework system and MRM system.)
  • The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar role and be able to show relevant examples.
  • Some experience of working in a communications team managing content across a variety of digital platforms.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with a range of people both internally and externally
  • Ability to work under pressure, and to deliver to regular deadlines whilst maintaining high standards
  • Experience of dealing with third party relationships or working in partnership with others.

This is a part-time position, (4 days) per week, with a strong possibility of additional hours, subject to agreement. The salary is £25,293 + good benefits.

Due to the company's forthcoming amalgamation the role will be appointed on a fixed-term basis to 31 December 2018.
