EMR have been mandated a brand new opportunity by a UK leading challenger. Our client would like an experienced Communications Manager to lead a specific company division with the support of the Head of Marketing.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a communications strategy and supporting delivery plan that effectively incorporates business objectives and customer requirements for the specific brand
  • Create a consistent approach to branch communications that delivers branch staff engagement and supports the wider business needs
  • Work with the Retail team (branch and product management) to lead development and execution of communications and plans using key messages and collateral
  • Manage the brand identity and guidelines for a specific brand. Adhere to brand guidelines for use in all communications and ensure these are understood by everyone in the business
  • Ensure that activities are evaluated against the business case to build learnings back into the plans and deliver continual optimisation of activity
  • Support the community and regional engagement plans and build relationships with regional partners in conjunction with the sponsorship team to ensure we leverage the opportunity presented with our retail customers
  • Provide guidance, support and editing for all pre-prepared customer communications
  • Champion the customer agenda through detailed research and insight gathering in conjunction with our Customer Insight team, ensuring that this knowledge is embedded within all communications output
  • Ensure all brand promotions, materials and communications comply with regulatory requirements
  • Line manage and coach all direct reports, including all aspects of performance management, development, conduct, sickness management, appraisals, employee administration and recruitment
  • Maintain the company's compliance standards and ensure timely completion of all mandatory on-line training modules and attestations

Your profile

  • Experience of working in a communications role from a regulated environment
  • Customer communications, brand communications and strategic experience
  • Line management experience is desirable
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Thorough knowledge of digital and social media
