EMR are working exclusively with a leading, global professional services firm to recruit a Communications Manager who will be responsible for creating and delivering external and internal communications campaigns across the UK and rest of world.

The role will suit candidates with broad B2B or professional services communications experience across internal and external channels, who have a real passion for inspiring colleagues, clients and journalists through their engagement initiatives.

There is real desire within the business to promote their excellent work on diversity, inclusion and CSR programmes, M&A activity, change programmes, increase exposure in trade publications and further develop digital channels including their internal magazines, video content and internal Brexit app.

As Communications Manager your key responsibilities will include:

  • Review, develop and launch internal and external communications, developing key messages and stories to tell
  • Enhance and introduce communication channels - including events, written, social media, digital, video, to engage and educate internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage proactive media relations, working with external agencies, and reactive media relations, including crisis management and PR

Your key skills and experience will include:

  • Proven Internal and External Communications experience gained in the professional services or B2B sectors
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with examples that show you can create content in a variety of formats
  • Demonstrate a real passion and desire to produce best in class communications, keeping abreast of and implementing the latest communications channels
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, being able to work with senior leaders to promote campaigns
