Description

Reporting to the Head of External Affairs, you will support the CEO and CFO with business/financial presentations and communication materials. You will have ownership of the digital channel, the intranet and be the main point of contact for the Group Social Media and corporate website.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, write and format slide presentations for senior level internal and external audiences - typically for the CEO and CFO to present
  • Draft scripts for senior Group leaders to present at meetings in the City or with key business stakeholders
  • Source and edit copy across all areas of the Group and ensure the timely and accurate production of the quarterly Group newsletter
  • Review, create and edit copy for all digital channels
  • Develop and coordinate all copy for the Group annual report
  • Establish and maintain the key link for the organisation with preferred group charities
  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the investor/analyst database
  • Prepare and obtain sign off for all corporate announcements and press releases ensuring they are communicated appropriately across all relevant channels

Experience / Skills Required:

  • Experience of working within Group head office of large business
  • Experience of writing and editing copy
  • Experience of supporting a business through a period of change
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and InDesign
  • Ability to prepare creative and accurate presentation material
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven creative copy
  • Confident to work effectively with senior business leaders and influence as required
  • Presence with senior leaders and stakeholders
  • Understanding of the financials but does not need to be an analyst
