Commercial Property marketing lead with a prominent FTSE real estate investor and developer.

A prominent property investor has a key position coming open in the Commercial Marketing team early 2018 due to a maternity cover. The business recently made a strategic shift and rebranded around this new customer experience-led strategy which has strengthened their go-to-market messaging; a fabulous time to be joining the marketing team.

Focus:

  • Deliver the London commercial marketing strategy for the next two years
  • Deliver a plan that ensures the firm is partner of choice into the next cycle for both existing and new customers
  • Develop and deliver marketing plans across existing assets and as developments come into the pipeline to support commercial leasing and asset KPIs
  • Change the way the firm is spoken about, focusing on experience and moving from product delivery to thought-leadership

Scope

  • Develop marketing strategies and either directly manage or oversee their implementation/activation
  • Responsibility for the management of all commercial marketing external agencies, including the adherence to contracts and pitch processes
  • Responsibility for seeking out innovative and forward-thinking solutions for commercial marketing campaigns to stay ahead of competitors
  • Manage the UK commercial and London marketing budgets effectively, on average a £1million per each new development, plus management of annual London commercial budget
  • Lead on RFPs
  • To work closely with the commercial marketing assistant on their delivery of
  • asset marketing plans
  • To work closely with the portfolio/asset, development, innovation and leasing teams
  • To ensure that the commercial marketing function is meeting the needs of its clients, peers and potential clients

Knowledge, experience and qualifications

  • B2B marketing experience and previous property or architecture marketing experience
  • Proven track record in creative marketing
  • Commercially aware, able to deliver cost effectively and work to tight budgets
  • Strong interpersonal skills - communication, influencing, coaching
  • Understanding of the London property/development landscape
