The business has strong brand heritage and customer base. The business offers a variety of products to consumers and businesses. With a customer first strategy the business has strong commercial objectives and growth plans. Over the last 2 years the company has heavily invested in technology projects, and redeveloping their customer proposition and product offering.

Working within the customer acquisitions team the business are looking for you to manage an area of their acquisition marketing plan. Reporting into the head of marketing you will manage multi-channel marketing plans to achieve sales, revenue targets and customer life time value targets, with agreed cost per acquisition targets.


  • To launch, develop and deliver a acquisition programme to deliver key KPI's
  • To own and develop the end to end marketing plan, covering customers, channels, journeys, messaging, and offer
  • To work with internal teams: trade and retention teams to identify and implement opportunities to maximise customer value
  • To review the propositions on an on-going basis
  • To identify improvements to the marketing and sales journeys, and work with the relevant teams (e.g. Digital, Call Centre) across the business to deliver these
  • To identify, develop and implement a pipeline of new acquisition channels
  • To work proactively with internal and external stakeholders to constantly identify new potential channels for business to acquire customers
  • To develop proposals, detailing the proposition, pricing and marketing plans, with supporting business cases, to enable business development
  • To work with internal and external stakeholders to successfully launch new channels
  • To ensure all key risks are identified, mitigated and monitored, and that any incidents against the risk register are reporting through the relevant processes


  • A rounded commercial marketer, ideally with understanding of proposition/offer development and developing marketing and sales plans
  • Experience of running test and learn programmes to maximise the return on investment from marketing channels
  • Solid commercial and financial knowledge, including previous experience of developing business cases
  • A strategic and innovative thinker, with the ability to identify, prioritise and develop new opportunities
  • Ideally, experience of working the third parties, including playing an active role in commercial negotiations
  • Proven track record of project delivery, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget
  • Exceptionally strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to gain commitment and lead cross-functional teams
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing change
  • Driven individual, with the passion and energy to improve the business
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
