A specialist law firm is looking for a Business Development Manager to lead their Business Development team. You will be reporting into the Head of Client Relationships and will be responsible for building a strategy around improving their market position and building key client relationships.

Working closely with senior stakeholders to implement the strategy you will be able to make a large impact on the firm's business plans. You will be managing two direct reports and will collaborate closely with the marketing lead and team.


  • Develop firm wide BD strategy
  • Prepare and manage pitches, bids and tenders
  • Manage and mentor the team
  • Provide coaching to partners around business development
  • Build strong relationships with partners


  • Professional services experience - legal
  • Experience working closely with senior stakeholders
  • Strong experience of tender and bid processes
  • Experience with managing budgets
  • Excellent CRM user
