Society Relations Representative

A prestigious global professional membership organisation requires a Society Relations Representative to join its London office. Reporting to the Director of Society Relations in EMEA this opportunity allows you to interact with member societies across Europe, especially major stakeholders at a senior level.

In this role you will work with colleagues in regional Societies as well as EMEA-wide Communications, Marketing, Education and Advocacy teams to enhance member Society collaboration and alignment. You will be responsible for understanding each society's objectives and to align their business closer with the central function. Developing training opportunities, technological improvement, marketing and education cooperation across member societies will be a key element of your responsibilities with researching content for regional publications making a further key part. In addition you will assist in the planning and delivery of society leader meetings.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree standard or equivalent with proven experience in a membership association or not-for-profit environment; a blue-chip B2B client services background would also be desirable. You will bring excellent interpersonal skills and communications skills including written, verbal, listening and presentation expertise. You will be comfortable using standard office software and will have a high level of time management and organisational skills, combined with sound judgement and mature business skills.
