A unique and important new opportunity to lead a service line team, formulate and deliver marketing and thought leadership strategy for a global leader in Professional Services. Your focus audience are established and prospective blue-chip businesses across in the Financial Services sector across EMEA. This is a managerial position, with your stakeholder management crucial in generating content and building client pipelines with colleagues. Chiefly you will be tasked with re-positioning thought leadership content marketing and a revised go-to-market strategy, maximising channel ROI including digital, and increasing brand awareness.

Responsibility Profile:

  • Providing strategic advice and guidance to Partners concerning how to drive market reputation and awareness within key buyer groups
  • Deliver the marketing strategy for 2015 and lead annual integrated planning process for 2016 to ensure development and deployment of integrated reputation and relationship development programmes across EMEA
  • Lead key projects to operationalise the strategy, such as marketing distribution, digital, budgeting and ROI
  • Work closely with the press team to raise the reputation of the marquee fee-earners across the key content areas
  • Design and delivery of market positioning campaigns to raise awareness of our service capability, build reputation and increase client loyalty
  • Work closely with the Sector Marketing Leads and Business Development team to ensure marketing programmes and campaigns have the appropriate links into the business and support the client target process
  • Work closely with the Internal Communication Lead to promote initiatives internally, educating and building connections across the firm
  • Manage the risk and quality aspects of marketing programmes and the overall EMEA marketing budget
  • Line manage the marketing team of three

Credential Profile:

  • Professional services marketing experience from Consultancy, Accountancy or Law
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry from a role or personal interest
  • Understanding and experience of the financial world/values and current interests
  • Service and solution campaign development and management
  • Proven commercial acumen
  • Credible presence when dealing with senior stakeholders, and strong influencing skills
  • Strong people management experience including coaching and mentorship
  • Strong project management and experience of leading projects, people and resources
