Head of Group Marketing & Communications

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join this charity operating in the wellbeing sector.

This is a newly created position reporting into the Director and managing a team of nine through two direct reports.  You main focus will be to generate new revenues by driving a more commercial culture that is customer focused via the delivery of a new portfolio of group products & services.  Leading the delivery and implementation of marcomms strategy you will oversee the production of effective product marketing strategies for each of the product lines.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a public sector and commercial environments.  The ability to drive a commercial proposition within a complex public sector frame work is paramount to the success of this role.  Having managed a large team, you will have experience across B2B & B2C markets.   Experience of any of the following would be highly advantageous; current learning and skills agenda across the UK, vocational education and training systems or an awareness of the structure, market, organisations, developments and issues within the UK sport & active leisure industry.
