Global Head of Marketing - Management Consultancy

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and progressive global management consultancy. With a recent C-level hire in marketing, this is a right time to be joining a firm that is invested in communications and that requires marketing leaders at senior levels to partner with consultants. You will be responsible for developing innovative global go-to-market approaches to accelerate growth in key markets. You will then oversee execution globally with immediate stakeholders and the local marketing network around the world. There will be a strong emphasis on digital lead generation and driving upward the ROI of marketing activities.

Responsibility Profile:

  • Working with the leadership team and regional cluster leaders to understand the goals of the business unit
  • Executing the marketing strategy and annual global marketing plans
  • Working with the product management team to develop product value propositions and segmentation advice
  • Developing and implementing product launch campaigns and ongoing product marketing campaigns
  • Lead the team to make sure that the digital presence is effective and up to date
  • Work with the digital marketing manager to ensure optimum channel effectiveness
  • Manage four direct reports
  • Coach and develop your team to maintain a high performing unit
  • Engaging and successfully integrating the local marketing network to make sure plans are executed effectively at country level
  • Developing tracking and ROI to measure impact in relation to marketing qualified leads and sales
  • Developing and implementing internal communications
  • Institute a process of continuous improvement based on results and feedback

Credential Profile:

  • Managerial experience from a B2B organisation, preferably a management consultancy
  • Experience planning, developing and managing marketing communications, preferably within international global context, with a strong understanding of brand and marketing strategy
  • Comfort delivering across the full marketing mix, with knowledge and experience of lead generation, segmentation strategy and digital marketing desirable
  • Ability to translate corporate strategy and business plans into a marketing plan that delivers results
  • Experience developing product propositions and translating these into sales and marketing collateral and campaigns
  • A current understanding and practical application of digital innovation in professional services
  • Experience of managing multifaceted projects and budgets
  • Ability to establish credibility, contribute with authority and drive action with senior leadership
