This is the perfect opportunity to further your experience in a recently created marketing team, taking on a broad and creative remit to include social media, sponsorship, webinars and online multimedia content.

You will have the flexibility to try new ways to capture buyers' attention as well as introduce new service lines to market, and will promote the firm at both practice and firm-wide levels. Initially taking on responsibility for two award-winning practice areas and working with the Global Head of Campaigns, management of juniors and team expansion is a future possibility. You will need to promote your success and ideas with vigour internally, working and influencing partners and associates to help strengthen their and the firm's profile.

Remit Overview

  • Identifying opportunities to develop marketing plans and campaigns with two of the firm's practice groups
  • Effective project management and execution of marketing campaigns
  • Developing knowledge-based marketing and communications activities designed to support lawyers in selling the firm's services to its clients
  • Working with the practices and industry sectors to identify and develop knowledge-based marketing and communications activities designed to support lawyers in cross-selling the firm's services to its clients and to raise firm profile in the market
  • Identifying and managing high profile sponsorship opportunities, which align with the firm's strategic priorities
  • Working with the Head of Marketing to deliver the firm's global program of client summits
  • Working with practices, sectors and special initiative teams to develop and promote client facing products
  • Ensure analysis of each directory is produced and distributed in a timely fashion
  • Driving best practice in legal directories, and managing the necessary infrastructure and processes
  • Maintain and develop the firm's database of rankings, awards, and quotes on partners and practices
  • Provide regular reports on activity, progress, and impact to the Head of Marketing and CMO
  • Deliver training internally to colleagues and lawyers on the marketing effectiveness and campaigns

Credential Profile

  • Substantial experience working in a marketing role for a B2B services organisation
  • Experience of developing and implementing marketing plans to build profile and reputation
  • Experience of running thought leadership campaigns and/or using knowledge and content to drive marketing activity
  • Ability to translate complex legal content in to marketable services for clients
  • Evidence of innovation and creativity in the delivery of marketing activity
  • Effective presentation and influencing skills
  • Educated to degree level
