Director of Marketing

This leading provider of finance and insurance solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises, based in London, is entering an exciting period of development and opportunity. To this end, the business has an excellent opportunity for a Marketing Director to work across an integrated marketing mix, to drive industry leadership and deliver profitable sales of new business as well as drive retention of existing clients.

In this role you will design, implement and facilitate the annual Marketing plan for the business along with affiliate companies. In doing so, you will also plan and drive optimal performance out of the annual Marketing and Communications budget. Relationship Marketing and Affinity/Partner Marketing will also be key focus areas for this role. Developing and administering the Marketing database to enhance customer targeting and improve the customer experience will also be imperative to the attainment of business and Marketing objectives. Digital Marketing will be a key area for development in the annual Marketing plan from both an acquisition and retention perspective. Finally corporate communications will also fall within the role's remit.

Ideally degree qualified or with an equivalent alternative qualification, you should have the ability to manage a small team, setting targets and goals, while also building the team and developing individuals. You will be able to demonstrate a good level of creativity, have strong organisational and analytical skills and an eye for detail. A track record in carrying out marketing to both a B2C and B2B audience would be desirable. While experience of the full marketing mix is key, an expert knowledge of Affinity marketing is essential . Online marketing, lead generation, PR, CRM and database management are also essential deliverables within the role.
