This leading global financial services brand which offers an extensive range of insurance products and services is looking for a Senior Customer Product Development professional to lead and deliver the product strategy for its core European business to consumer division.
In this role you will set the direction for the countries to implement the consumer product development strategy to deliver steady profitable growth in accordance with plans agreed with the key product areas across the business. Reporting into a director you will have accountability for the planning and strategic development of the product proposition - leading the analysis of customer behaviours to drive compelling insights into the market and customers. You will also work with the development and execution of the associated plan for the product set looking at business as usual and NPD programs. You will be responsible for providing the product manufacturing and distribution areas with regular analysis and reporting of product performance and variance to plan. For products within the current portfolio it will also be your role to lead and monitor the performance whilst taking full accountability for the management of P&L. Managing internal and external stakeholders effectively and optimising the communication channels will be essential to effectively delivery in this complex matrix style environment.
As the successful candidate you will have a formal degree qualification. A track record in financial services and/or insurance is essential as is experience in managing P&L in a product related environment. You will be highly motivated and have strong leadership and team management credentials.
