One of the FTSE 100 leading residential developer is seeking a Communications Manager to join its London team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to play a key role in positively positioning the brand, and to help maintain its position as one of the most successful residential developers in the country.

Sitting within the marketing and communications department, you will work across internal and external communications on a wide range of channels from online, brand standards, events and collateral, and be expected to bring ideas and fresh thinking to the department. You will be responsible for brand positioning and narrative/storytelling, content generation, and internal communications. You will work on integrated communications, brand promotion and marketing campaigns, press releases, PR and media plans, and social media content.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategy - formulate integrated communications objectives on the back of strategy and business objectives, and work with key members of the marketing and sales teams to develop key messages and content around important land acquisitions and development marketing plans.
  • Communications - research and develop content on a regular basis for internal and external distribution, particularly for media relations, public affairs, internal communications and website, as well as providing copyediting support. Research and analyse all internal and external resources to gather news and information for the business.
  • Media relations - occasionally cover communications manager that leads on PR during issues and absences, and at times will be the first port of call for all incoming media enquiries.
  • Planning & Organisation - manage own project communications with stakeholders including partners, customers, employees, stakeholders, consultants and suppliers. You will also coordinate with other channels, specifically PR, online communications, development communications, and marketing collateral.

The ideal candidate will have extensive communications experience, excellent writing and communications skills, demonstratable project management experience, and experience translating brand strategy to external communications and media sell ins.You will also be confident at communicating at all levels, have strong attention to detail, and be organised and proactive. You will be chartered membership of CIM or equivalent.
