A leading pharmaceutical company have an excellent opportunity for a senior sales professional to join their team as a National Business Manager to join the senior management team.
This is a unique opportunity for a pharmaceutical professional with an excellent track record in business development, market access understanding and scientific knowledge to develop their career in a new exciting direction.
Working with the senior management team in Oncology & the Market Access team, the successful candidate will focus on Biosimilars.
Role
·Shape the healthcare environment for forthcoming product launches through the NCCP/HSE budget planning process·Create and maintain strategic and operational relationships with key influencers·Work with key internal colleagues to develop local market access strategy ·Develop and oversee the implementation of the local access strategy·Oversee strategic account plans for the country with particular focus on major accounts in order to manage key customer groups·Lead the development of payer engagement strategy ·Develop local formulary listings and endorsement for oncology products ·Build beneficial relationships and mobilise payer and Secondary Care KOLs, utilising medical support where appropriate·Deliver the strategic account plan ensuring it delivers and drives the push through of company brands from the point of launch
Person
·3rd level degree in scientific or business discipline·10+ years Pharma sales experience (Oncology experience a distinct advantage)·Proven track record in a commercial leadership role·An working knowledge of Market Access
