Investor Relations & Business Development Manager

A London based, boutique IR consultancy firm is looking for an Investor Relations account manager to join its growing business.

The role reports to the Managing Partner, and will have a lead role in growing the business, winning new clients and providing a seamless IR advisory service to existing clients, including pre IPO consultancy. The role would suit a proactive and highly driven individual who is hungry for growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide IR advisory services to key clients across the UK & Europe, including developing IR strategies, preparing results announcements and consulting on debt and equity issues.
  • You will be responsible for new lead generation and building a pipeline of prospective clients
  • Develop relationships with corporate brokers, financial PR advisors and other relevant capital market participants
  • Develop a plan for new product development, taking insight from market trends

Key skills

  • Previous experience in capital markets or advisory firm, with a solid understanding of Investor Relations
  • The role is highly financial and therefore the suitable candidate must have strong financial literacy, preferably with a financial qualification
  • Existing network of contacts/IROs in UK & Europe would be ideal
  • Excellent verbal and written English
